The following is a prototype for a graphical database containing images of homes and businesses which were cleared, through eminent domain, in the 1950's to make way for Interstate-5. Completed in the early 60's, I-5 changed neighborhoods forever as it bisected Seattle in half. Some recovered, others did not. Sometimes two new neighborhoods were created, each containing DNA of its former self, while other times a no man's zone was created, often inhabited by the homeless.
